94 GT auto ...Should I use a wet or dry kit ? Isnt dry a safer kit ? I want it as safe as I can get it.Also any reccomendations as to what kit.. Only other mods will be explorer upper/lower and exhaust..I may upgrade the ignition....

I don't know much about nitrous, or if either one is really safer. I think that depends on the shot. I'm pretty sure that the benefit of the dry kit is the simpler installation.

By the way, if you look up on 5.0 magazine or Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords, they should have some tech articles on do it yourself nitrous kits. One of them had an awesome article on hiding your nitrous system in your vacuum lines etc.

i actually think the reason that the dry kits are safer is because you dont have to worry about running to lean with the fuel mixture and detonation..

And Bullet I saw that tech article ,they hid the little bottle in the door..That was a street racers dream...

..For some reason I remember someone telling me that on a 94 use a wet kit..

If you have no clue about nitrous, go dry...

But, a wet kit, with the proper Air/fuel ratio mix will give you more power...

The dry kit is easy... plumb it into your CAI and have a blast...

The wet kit requires nozzles and you better get the fuel mix right or BAMMM!!!!

Both have there advantages and disadvantages just like any other performance part. But we here prefer wet kits. We try to sell wet kits at our shop anytime someone comes in askin for nitrous. And you can install it just like a dry kit. Single fogger right before the throttle body. And if you follow the rules of the nitrous gods its 100% safe.
