Default Some progress pictures of my car getting painted!

Good progress today! I primered the entire car (probably overkill, but I am trying to get it as nice as I can), fenders, and then a few spots on my rear bumper and my side skirt. Tomorrow I sand the front bumper, and then primer that along with the hood. Then Thurs and Fri I sand sand sand, and hopefully (If I find someone) Friday night it gets sprayed. Saturday I will reassemble, and then Sunday I make the drive back to school in Tampa. Monday morning I have class all day and then sometime during the week I will be wetsanding the car. Stressful past two weeks but hopefully it will pay off! This is the first time I have seen my car dent free, I cant freaking wait to go :drive: :drive: :drive: ~!!!!.

Before:
Saleen Bumper

Decklid with filled holes

Dent fixing

Test fitting the back bumper

After:
Mirrors and S281 spoiler

Looks good, maybe I can pay you to give me some pointer as im almost at the prep stage. Also I plan on prepping the entire thing, then maybe wet sanding the primer?

Question Once primed can I leave it in the weather? I have no garage or carport I just plan on doing one panel at a time. Im using 400 on a neumatic orbital sander then i wash it and let it dry then prime, that sound about right?

Main question is can It be outside once primer is dryed?

Sure can man, just make sure you clean it off real good before you spray base or sealer.

As far as a plan, its getting new black paint with a super nice clear. I also got a full real saleen kit for it, a s281 spoiler and a cobra RR hood. It had a couple nice dents in it, and a bunch of door dings so its nice to see it straight again!
