Default AOD to T-5 swap

Looking to see if there is anyone around that can do a swap to a manual T-5 in my 88 gt. Wondering if it would be cheaper to sell my car and just buy a decent manual car than do the swap. If it would, anyone want to buy a 88 GT?

unless you can find a decent car for less then a couple hundred bucks, it's going to be a lot cheaper just to swap.

do the manual swap...its not that hard or complicated...if you can turn wrenches you can do this...finding a good t5 is the hard part....good luck

Is the swap for $1600 a junkyard T-5 or rebuilt? Also is it the lower rated T-5 or the Z version they put in the later models? I would've liked to attempt this swap on my own, but I just Don't have the time or resources to do it. Beside, I'd rather have it done by someone experienced.
