1966, 6-banger, 4-speed.

The body is fairly straight, floor pans are rust free. I assume they have been replaced considering I spotted new sound deadening under the carpet. No rust on the strut towers. Owner claims on the windshield that it runs good and has cold ac. He is asking 2,500 obo for it.

I spotted rear fenderwell rust. Some small body parts are misaligned. Body work has been done to the car. The window seals and trim need to be replaced.

Does it seem like a fair price form the description?

 

I would think so. They have just about doubled in value in the last few years.

check out the cowl, they rust out alot.

I'm pretty sure its a 4 speed, but where is reverse on both patterns?

 

i think in a 3 speed, it was back/right... 4spd, up/left maybe? trying to remember....

 

I tried up/left and got nothing, also tried up/right, and got nothing, maybe its back right?

 

i thought on a 3 speed reverse was where 4th would be

 

May have been changed over the years, but Ford didnt put a 4-speed behind the 6cyls
Seems to be decent price. Def check the cowl area pretty expensive to fix this right
