ok so i have been tearing through my fox tryin to fix what somebody fucked up hacked wiring job cut fusible links god knows what else was done to the car before i got it . cant get the a/c controls to change vents only blows through the defroster ! compressor doesnt kick on , im just so out of my league on this im fuckin frustrated and i dont know where to begin

i need all new wiring harnesses im guessing that would be the best way to go about it ! well the main engine harness and the interior underdash harness the fusebox was mangled clearly im in need of help any recommendations?

amazingly this thing still runs perfect and everything seems to work well except the backup lights

 

your vent / defrost deal is vacuum controlled not electric.

 

alright what vac lines do i have to fix in order to get that corrected ! also the temp knob i looked at it just spins the little gear in the back isnt movin at all

make sure you the vacum line going into the passenger cabin is hooked up. it will be on the passenger side of the firewall I believe

 

there's also a little vacuum line on the back of the control panel too, make sure they're all hooked up........also make sure the little "door" that opens and closes to direct the a/c isn't rusted shut.
