need help with vacume lines
ok my map sensor ( i think that what its called) doesnt have a vacume line conected to it. i found a line thats caped off but i am not sure if thats where it goes to. if anyone can help me with like a diagram or something it would help so much.

ok not fighting and i know i really shouldnt listen to them but the guy at advance said that there was suposse to be a line hooked up to it. i might be saying the wrong part name. so ill figure it out and post up later tonight.

If this is a n/a 2.3 you might be looking at the piece thats on the firewall?Its suppose to have a white cap on it?Its suppose to be like that.I deal with different cars all day,but I think thats the one your talking about.
Thats what you get for even asking the people that work at advance questions like that.

ok...actually what is on your car is called a B.A.P. sensor. It looks just like what most people refer to as a M.A.P. sensor. The BAP which your 92 came with, reads the barometric air pressure therefore it DOES NOT have a vacuum line connected to it. Older Fords (typically speed density) use a Manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP), it reads manifold pressure. This is why it would it would need a vacuum source.
...this is why he works at Advance not Ford.
