So I finished putting my cobra intake on today...Blah blah and now it won't run.

I have checked the firing order 5 times and bumped the distributor to the #1 cylinder and it was a TDC.

It will start for a second and idles up to about 2000 and slowly falls all the way down and shuts off. If I give it gas it will rev and as it idles down it will back fire a little.

I like to think I know a little about theese cars and I have done this before but I am stumped right now. HELP!!! Please.

Vacuum leak.

If you have an air compressor clamp off your aircleaner and try pressurizing your intake track with 10 psi or so.

 

+1 sounds like a vacuum leak.

 

Pressurised the intake I got nothing. Thanks for the suggestion.

you know there is'nt anything wrong with drifting it's just the whole you have to suck dick to be popular,and also the girl pants and makeup that bothers me aswell.

Sorry about the random post,just drinking and talking to a friend and posted in the wrong thread but I think the point has been made.And the point is,drifting is like a gang except having to be beaten in I think you have to blow the head dude to be accepted.

 

Fair enuff, no harm no foul. It was pretty funny.

Anyway I am also back to vacum leak with you guys. one of the center bolts for the upper was not torqued al the way and that is because it was stripped. I noticed the threads were kinda bad about a week ago but they didn't look that bad. Oh well upper is coming back off and the hole is being tapped.
