BEAUTIFUL .. id take the trans to a trans place and have them go thru it and take out the shift kit .. they do nothing but making neck snapping shifts at part throttle which is kinda useless since ya arent racing it.

Id also look into retrofitting an efi set up on there and an AC set up as it wil be your daily driver and well we all know how much smoother and reliable efi is and how nice AC in in the FL summer. All in all I think its a beautiful car. Best of luck

a 1st gen vert auto isnt supposed to shift like banging the clutch in a 4 speed dude. That car is a beautiful cruiser which she will be using for her daily driver. Depending on the shift kit i can either but just enough or they can have the rediculas one in there that feeling like you are driving in a car with somone who doesnt know how to drive stick.

Besides that it was only an opinion and being she is a personal friend ill give it to her if i fucking please

I'd be too scared to use her as a DD. I would worry about every rock, shopping car, driver's door, Love Bug and jealous a-hole in the state Florida. First time I walked out to find it was door dinked, I would blow my top.... Maybe if you had a nice place to park her in saftey at work, but I would have to make her the weekend car.

But that is just IMHO!

Not all shift kits are bone jarring harsh man,but if so its an easy change. That is no daily driver either. Cool out, I enjoy your opinion too.
