Default Need to have aluminum wheels refinished

I bought a set of roush wheels off ebay last week. Well, I just got them and they are all scratched. Every one of them has significant chips, scrapes and even some curbing. The seller said that one wheel had some minor scratches, LOL!

Anyway, I am going to try to work it out with him by offering to let him pay to have 3 out of the 4 wheels refinished. I've never had this done before and honestly, I worry that they will look "refinished" when they are done, as opposed to that new look that we all like. How much can I expect to pay?

These are 5-star style with a silver painted center and the outside edge is machined. The entire wheel is clearcoated.

Thanks!

Jeff, that sounds like eBayese for, "1 wheel has minor scratches and the other three are totally ass raped."

Try Glen's Wheel Polishing over in Tampa. They are close to Ramsey's.

If you are that unhappy now, refinishing them will do you no good. You'll never be happy with them. You're best to see if you can return them and buy new.

cant get 18inch roush wheels anymore..which is the only reason I would consider refinishing them.

I kinda hope he doesnt reply to my paypal dispute. Apparently because I used paypal buyer credit to pay for it, I am 100% covered. If he doesn't reply, maybe Ill get a refund and get to keep the wheels
