Default I am Back...

Whats up Ford Tech. I have been looking for anthor Mustang. I am going to go look and maybe pick up one tonight. It is a 98 Cobra. Is there anything I should take a sepical look at on this model year?

Dont know but if they had the shitty heads that would be the first place i'd start. But i dont know anything about the sn world. Ask uncle pat

if it is the one i'm thinking of look on google about "the fix". i think it is a purple dot,.

I brought her home last night. I will post better picture's when I get her cleaned up. I bought it from a long time friend and SHE always drove it like a girl.



Anyone in here tint windows?

I would at least sea foam the intake on that thing. Really you want to pull it off to clean the IMRC's on it though. More so then normal because it was babied.

Intake Manifold Runner Control. They are butterflies in half of the intake runners. They open above like 3-3200rpm. Its helps with bottom end torque. The plates sit in between the lower intake and the heads. The injectors only spray down the primary because its always open. The secondary runner is where the butterflies are and they get caked up with oil from the pcv system. Some ties they eve get stuck closed which really hurts power.

Not to mention all the crap on them will hurt air flow. I would sea foam the whole thing. then pull it apart and clean the imrc's s everything gets cleaned. You may still want to pull the top off the intake a clean that also while its all apart. It's a easy job just takes a little time.

I would visit SVTPerformance.com and go to the sn95 forum they have tons of info stickied.
