Default know anything about shipping airbags??

I had a buddy call me up and offer me $450 for the airbags in my wrecked '98. I said sure and he paypalled me the money. I go to UPS and they say I need a HAZMAT agreement in order to ship them...individuals can't do it. US Mail won't ship them at all. Any suggestions???

PS...apparantly they are a "01 explosive", and shipping without declaration blah blah is a felony with a $10K fine.

It is only important that they be shipped GROUND as shipping explosive devices on aircraft is prohibited. Follow this rule and dont tell them contents.

+1. Just make sure its well packed and shipped ground. UPS doesn't xray ground packages unless they tick or make noise!

I know that at the dealership I work at, if we order the wrong air bag, we are stuck with it. No return shipping of airbags. It sure is fun having all the warranty airbags to set off.

There is a ton of paperwork you have to fill out with FedEx. That is who we use at our work. And yes it is fun to set those things off.
