Default Flowmasters

OK, so I have a 2004 Gt with o/r x-pipe and Flowmaster American Thunder Series. It's just not loud enough. I traded my SLP loudmouth catback for it because I wanted more of a controlled sound and it's nice but to quiet. I wanna buy some used flowmaster mufflers and get them welded in place of the old ones. Does anyone know of a good series or another type of muffler that has good volume because I don't know too much about Flowmasters. But it has to be something that is a direct fit. Thanks

I would go with Bassani's or Magnaflows. But what kind of SLP exhaust did you have? The Loud Mouth 1's are quite loud and can be heard from far away and is deafing inside of a car that I have rode in.

I have flowmaster 40's on my t-bird with the 4.6. I had them mounted in place of the stock mufflers as well as a removed resonator. they're mellow but decently loud upon wide open throttle. How loud do u want to go. Depending on your liking, loud sometimes gets annoying on longer drives.

I have an o/r H and 2 40 Series.....All of my friends can hear me from 3 blocks away and they are obnoxious!!!! (but I love it) They are really loud, but I don't know if you can find the 2 chambers anymore (or so I have been told).....but I got mine on ebay REALLY cheap, just type in Flowmaster 40 series and they should come up if the company still sells them. I think I got both for 75 bucks!
