Did you check out the car dealers? The Ford Dealer on Dale Marbry that services the cop cars has a yellow one.

Wasnt trying to say Hellion was a fly-by-night company. Just to stear clear from the ones that are.

Jeff, call up Sam@Coastal and tell him what you have in mind. What are your power goals or time goals with the car? Dont get me wrong, you cant go wring with either the whipple or turbo kit. Just my personal opinion that a turbo system would be "better". What made you lean toward the whipple kit? Anything in particular?

You will see those turbo kits start coming off because of this new whipple 3.4... and some KB thats suppose to be coming out... A few guys on svtperf are thinking about going from TT to the 3.4whipple...

I have a ported eaton terminator... It's got some balls, good for 11's.. They're fun as hell to have.. Out of the people that mod there Terminators, 1/2 go ported eaton nitrous, and the other half go twin screw... have you ever thought about a ported eaton with nitrous if you get the car?? Stge 4 ports are putting down 500-520rwhp/tor.. + 100 shot which nets around 170lb ft torque on the cars (some dynos i have seen)..

What kinda times are you running now? You said you'd spank a pullied Terminator... so you must be in the 11's now?

I didnt mean that I spanked a pullied terminator - I meant that the N/A combo that I had in mind should be able to spank one

I've been in turbo cars and I know what they are all about - amazing.

I was leaning toward whipple because I can get the kit pretty cheap and the other parts to install it on my mach are mostly take-off cobra parts, so I should be able to do that pretty cheaply too. Not to mention, a tubular-K is not required.

I also like being unique. Not many people are doing all-out N/A builds and I believe I can make some pretty nutty HP on the motor. The main drawback being the powerband is so much wider with FI... Geared correctly, I could probably still get by.

99 Cobra here is NA vs. pullied eaton 03 cobra

I think he ran a 10 something with his latest setup. He is going turbo though now. He's on svtp and modularfords.

Just remember he has a FR500 intake(Big $$), which helps a lot with his numbers.
