ok heres the thing.. i basically got everything i need to do the convert ive been lookin things up on the net and it says its fairly simple all i have to do is run 4 wires from the maf harness and repin the old connector for the new computer .. anyone know if this is all i really need to do also something about vss signals and the fuel pump mnitor signals .. its an 87 gt the comp is out of a 92 lx the code is a9p i dunno if its compatiple i heard somethin about havin to use the i think the code is "a9L" computer whats the diff and any advice is appreciated .. also lookin for a good TB and maybe a biger MAFS

42 lbs and a 90mm lightning TB pros ,cons?

 

I would say just find 89 harness somewhere. save you a huge head ache. It can be changed but once you start pulling and repinning the computer your just asking for problems.

 

a9l computer its a 5spd mass air computer the a9p its a automatic computer...

i have a mass air complete wiring conversion with 24lbs injectors and pro-m 75mm mass air meter for sale , cobra intake manifold and 65mm throttle body...lmk

 

I repinned mine and just remember to solder the connections for best results. Not that hard to do at all.
