A close acquaintance to me has recently asked for my help and had me listen to his mustang.
It's an 86 4 eyed monster that is fairly clean, it is the base model so it is the 3.8l v-6. It's got some bad rod knock. After describing the problem he voiced his opinion saying he would much rather have a new motor, I talked him into just replacing the bottom end to keep the price lower.

I'm just asking if any of you guys know a good retailer who offers decently priced shortblock.

i have a 2000 3.8 with all acc and wiring including computer...if your interested i can also include the t-5 trans 190 hp motor....motor alone=400.00 and trans alone=450....combination of both=650.00.lmk 1-727-943-7854...way less than complete rebuild..both have 50000mi

 

Sorry man, Doing all that work would require him to pay me more and I am looking to keep it lower for him.
