I am trying to locate thermostat housing for my 2003 focus. Cant seem to locate one so I thought I'd ask here. I didn't realize it was the housing til after the dealerships were closed

I got one this morning thanks guys. It is funny I ask the service guy from Freedom Ford (since their part dept was closed) if the Focus had a common issue with the thermostat housing he said "No I have never seen that being a problem" I got the Walker ford this morning and I ask the parts guy the same question he said he sees it quite a bit. At first I thought it was the water pump, but it wasn't overheating just lossing fluid. It was also making an intermttitent (sp?) squeeling noise. Turns out that I put my hand under the housing and the fluid was leaking from there. By the way here in a few weeks I will be doing an All Ford meet at the Bob Evans restaurant on Ulmerton rd. I will keep you guys posted. Thanks for the answers guys. PS can someone tell me how to give rep so I can hook u guys up.

 

I see it about once a week at my dealership. Glad you got that thing fixed.
