2.9 v6 starting problems!
i suppose this probably wont get answered here because the truck is used for off roading.. but its worth a try.
i have a 87 ranger 4x4 with the crappy 2.9 v6. now the truck has a few problems i need to settle. the first thing when i get the truck started(when it wants to start) everytime i press or feather the gas the truck will just stall. well i went out today and put fuel injector/octane booster in it and put in a new battery, as soon as i hooked up the positive terminal the truck was trying to start on its own with the key not in ignotion and the truck was in gear! how the hell is this happening? the mofo pushed me like 10ft forward as i was hooking up the new battery. it didnt do it yesterday when i hooked up the old battery. does anyone have any ideas??
