Update On Sunshine Speedway
I was asked to please pass the word along on Sunshine Speedway since they are finishing up on repaving it.
They will be closed Wednesday (today / April 18 ) but will reopen Friday.
Please pass this along to anyone you know that goes out there.

What sucks is the track won't hook for shit until some major rubber is laid down,then it will be sick!I'm glad they decided to finally do it,the fast cars couldn't even get down the track and someone was bound to get hurt.Much respect to the owners.

The burnout box all the way to the start line with concrete, and then asphalt from there to the finish line. They used the best asphalt out there to pave this. The transition from concrete to asphalt is smooth and is level. The whole track is very level and smooth now. They also paved the entrace coming into the track. They used all the ground up old stuff and spread it in the parking lot and then compacted it. So no more holes and not as much dust now.

the track should be nice and broken in by the time i get my car ready to run down it.

Just like they did to BMP when they re-did it last year they will drag tires up and down that track with 1000lbs. on top of them for days. It will stick.
