Default Attaching harness?

I've never really paid attention to how they are mounted to a roll bar. Are they looped at the end and you have to put the harness bar thru them? Or do you sew them around the bar?

There is a tab welded to the bar and the harness has a tab on it as well. You bolt the two together.

you can also loop the belt around the bar. Not sure if that is allowed by SCCA or NASA though. Personally i think looping the belt and attaching it to itself is better since you take two potential failures out of the equation, the bolt and the welded tab.

not anymore. tabs only, you cannot put a bending load on the harness either.
