crazy idea for a hybrid motor
So you think, or I wish anyway, that someone would make a aftermarket SBF block that accepts LSX heads? Why you may ask? Cause reading in Hot Rod magazine, GM will be selling the L92 heads from the 6.0 tahoe for $375 complete, and they flow 330 cfm in stock casting. Then you can buy the matching intake with a 90mm tb and 36# injectors for $475. You couldnt buy anything that cheap that close in ford parts. Im jealous in fact

Why not just swap a 6.0L LSX motor in a Fox?? I know its not cool after you do that but at least you'd have a lighter motor that makes more power for cheap

I do agreee with you.. As long as the car is a Ford, I don't really care what the power plant is... If it will save some coinage in the long run and be more powerful.. Go for it..

true I guess, I was gonna say though, LSX motors arent cheap to buy though, but since this is a aftermarket block it wouldnt be cheap either. It would be nice if some copied the LSX heads and make a bolt on style for fords and a matching intake.

They would still tack on an extra 250 clams just because it is going on a Ford.....
