I have a customer who wants to take the 351 from his truck and put it in his 91 Gt. What all has to be changed? Thanks

 

Nothing.... just need swap parts... 351w fox body oil pan, swap headers, swap mounts.... if he is using the stock serpentine stuff he just needs the new 351w bracket that will let him use the stock front end stuff. I put a 351w in once and then a 393 stroker in an 87 hatch. Easy as pie. Even used all of the stock efi stuff for fuel delivery. Call me Raymond if you need details.

my friend put a 351 in his 89 4 banger, and he said he had to do sum chassis bracing. i dont know. sounds like a good project car to pull sum good power out of.

Raymond he will need a cowl hood too unless he uses drop mounts... but I don't recommend using them bro.

 

No, not in a foxbody. They put one in a 1995 SN95 though, the Cobra R I belive.

 

saleen used 351's through 1999 i believe in their S351 models
