Good luck with that I hope this doesnt turn into a horror story. At least you know it can be retuned and everything will be alright.

WELL im definatly getting the run around from the dealer already and they have only been open 120 seconds! "whats wrong with the car?" well under wot its popping through the exhaust. "ooohhh well um uh yeah well call back at 3 O'clock Billy might be here then"

Yeah well im going to take it down to my buddys shop he uses to service his fleet and check the plugs , probably replace them with NGK tr6s , make sure they are all firing and its not a coil pack and check the oil for reak of fuel. incase the fuel rail pressure sensor died. Atleast thoose are easy checks and easy fixes. As the dealer is 45 min away and clearly doesnt care anyway.

Its not hitting the fucking revlimiter , its about 4,000 RPM short of that.
The flip chip has stock and 2 tunes it did it with none of the tunes not it does it with all 3 of them.
The tank was at an 1/8 I filled up at a mobil station that does good volume with 93 octane.

Check the FPRS...did you hit the limiter at all? That can do it. Also, keep more gas then that in it. I've heard of to many guys running the termy with low fuel and burning pistons up. I wouldn't even think about getting on it with less the 1/4 tank. I always try to keep it around half a tank or over.

yeah the car had 1/8 from the dealer i drove it a mile and filled er up.
BTW it IS a bad FRPS the oil smells like gas and so do the vaccum lines.
Getting a new FRPS , ngk plugs and some fresh synthetic and a filter for er at 2pm. the part store is sending a runner down to the bronx to get me my plugs =)
