Wet Vs. Dry
A basic dry that is tuned by a good shop with something like a flip chip IMO will likley be a better deal for a novice who doesnt know anything and just wants to set it and forget it.
Now I did not say that basic wet kits didnt have there place. And he may get one and have good luck with it..who knows. But the reason i posted all that above is because dry kits get a bad rap for no good reason. Just like nitrous in general. And of course most of that is due to operators not knowing what they are doing and damaging thier cars and of course blaming it on "the kit".

Who is going to install it and or tune it? Who is telling you dry kit?

But a dry would only be one additional step for the tuner. Its not like its an insurmountable problem...lol. And certainly not enough for everyone to say dry sucks
And once you are done with the initial dry setup, I completely believe the rewards will be increased safety and longevity of use as compared to wet.
Ease of intitial install should not be the major concern when picking out a nitrous setup IMO.

if hes asking about which kit to buy he needs to the research which there is obviously plenty of that on here. Just because he is a kid like myself doesn't mean hes dumb! he just doesn't have the experience or knowledge which he needs to read this thread and many others. But if hes lay'z enough to just ask which is better on this forum and have other people make his decision then he is just dumb. neither one is safer than the other just a wet kit can be tuned easier by yourself and has a intial cheaper start up, i.e. no tuning needed or chips and so on just common knowledge and don't get greedy with a stock engine. not saying its not a bad idea to have a tune with a wet kit.
Greedy bastards!
