I have always been running 93 octane.. Could I get away with 89? I know 87 I tried it before and it runs just pings if I get on the car.. I don't wnat it to ping if I get on it..

You just need to try it and see what happens. If it pings, back your timing down. If you are going to do that, just back it off a few more degrees and run the 87 all day long.

Put 87 in, then take a piss in your gas tank - it'll run smooth as can be. Works every time.

I ran 10.48 with a 50/50 mix of 87 and 93 in the tank
