Default quick compression question

anyone know the approxamate compression ratio of a stock '90 shortblock with a 64cc head and stock thickness gasket? and do you think there is any chance of getting some 2.02 valves to clear with a .512 lift cam?

thanks in advance..

its prolly not recomended using a thicker head gasket to lower the compression ratio and gain extra valve clearance ay?

and if i do end up needing to cut the valve releifs, anyone know where to get them cut without taking the rod out of the piston or even cutting them while they are still in the block?

.......anyone got a 306 shortblock for sale on the cheap

Find a shop that has the tool, buy the tool yourself, or break out the angle grinder, people have been known to do it that way.

I believe Wes302 and Na306 bolth have the tool. Its passed through the hole in the head for the valve stem and hooked to a drill.
