ok im looking into a new project, and im thinking of going back to ford for this one.....
some of you guys may have seen my threads for 1st gen escort gt stuff for sale in here before....anyway..
im gonna try and do a rear wheel drive conversion on a 1st gen escort wagon, using the 2.3 turbo motor from the svo mustang, turbo coupe tbird and the xr4ti....
i have access to the motor, and the car will be easy and cheap to find, as well as the drivetrain....
i know its gonne be retarded, and alot of fab work, thats fine, its what i want anyway, projects that are easy are usually boring as well.....
besides a rear wheel drive turbo charged 89' escort wagon would be nuts to see on the road!!
any thoughts, advise is very welcome.......

i actually thought about that, or taking the mustang chassis and doing the same....
dropping the body on a mustang or tbird chassis might be alot easier....less to fab...
