Not to be an ass, but your theory isn't sound. The Honda Civic and the Toyota Corolla have been the cheapest cars from these two manufacturers up until 2-years ago (now their cheapest cars are the Fit and Yaris...both have shown to be fantastic cars in their first year of manufacturing). Both vehicles are rated some of the most reliable and best built economy cars on the road since they were first built back in the late 70's and early 80's. Same can't be said for the older Cavaliers, Neons, Escorts, etc.

Now I would agree with you if you said "buy the cheapest AMERICAN car they make, chances are you will have problems." American manufacturers just can't build a decent entry level vehicle. Hell, most would argue that they can't build a decent vehicle regardless of trim level. Look at the Ford GT. Ford's HAND BUILT pride and joy had a rear suspension recall where it may collapse when being driven. If Ford can't get their 6-figure, limited production, hand built "super car" right, what makes you think they can do anything else right. [/rant]

it really sucks you had a bad experience.

I'm sure it should be obvious we don't want to hear your Ford Bashing here any more, so just stop.

there are plenty of other forums just dying to bash fords, why don't you go there

we're sick of hearing your opinion.

Theese are FORDS ..... I have a Chevy Tattoo and even I know what a ford looks like...
THe most popular performance car EVER....

The most popular SUV EVER

The most popular hard as working truck going!

THIS IS NOT A HONDA its a ford made from recycled pepsi cans with a weed wacker motor. A company that makes such great and popular vehicals as listed above has little concern for their econo pepsi can on 4 donuts for tires. If u want a quality pepsi can on 4 donuts buy a civic.. change the oil every 3000 miles the timing belt every 80,000 miles and drive the damn thing for 15 years
