Default New best for the towtruck tonight!

Went to sunshine tonight and the L ran really good,no nitrous and on 18" Nitto DR's.Previous best was a 7.98 with a 1.71 60' on slicks and spraying it out of the hole.First pass just stabbing the throttle I went 8.19 with a 1.81 60'.Second pass I launched it pretty hard and ripped off 8.09 with a 1.73 60' and the damn thing between the 1-2 shift ran out of gas, fell over then picked back up .I didn't feel like leaving just to get gas then come back so I was pretty happy with that.I killed my previous best motor pass of 8.22 and I really think I would of beat my 7.9 nitrous pass tonight, but we'll see next week with some more gas in the tank. Not bad for a 5,000 lbs. daily driven truck

I was going to,but with the little bit of 93 left in the tank it probably wouldn't of helped, plus I would have only got one maybe two more runs in.

Let me know how long the motor last doing that to it.

Starving the engine of fuel @ WOT is just asking for it.

That big bastard was badass.

What color was your L? If i remember correct there was three there. All were running rather well and sounding good.

Yeah I know, that's why I didn't run again. The way the fuel tanks in these trucks is set up is asinine, the tank runs front to rear with the damn fuel pump in the front of the tank.I had a little under 1/4 tank of gas but with the hard launch I guess it wasn't enough.Trust me,I won't do it again.
