Is it the battery or the starter? Or is it something else?
1993 Mustang 2.3L L-4 Engine wont start... lights are dim... im thinking its the battery but the other day when i was getting a jump from a neighbor the lights were fine but it wouldnt turn over so i'm thinking starter too...

lights are dim is your battery. sometimes when a battery takes a shit it is still hard to start even while jumping. I would pull the battery and take it to an autoparts store and have them load test it. If it is fine and just needing a charge you will want to check your alt. If the battery and alt check out then go for the starter. I would definately start looking at the battery first as it is the easiest thing to test and remove.

it should be on the drivers side right in front of the strut tower about 4" below where the hood sits when its closed, some simple hand tools will take it off. Hell you could even do it with a pair of plyers if need be
ahhhhh ha ha ha ha ha
+1 if you cant get the battery out tow it to someone who knows about cars. No point in pulling the alt if you dont know if the battery is good or not.
