OK I have a 91 hatchback 5.0. This morning on the way to work I stomped the go pedal and when I let off the throttle stuck. Anyone have this problem before? I havent looked at it yet, I was hoping maybe someones had this problem before and can tell me atleast where to start.

 

I had the same problem thing hung wide open in the middle of a shift and almost blew, firts i pulled the hood couldent figure anything out. then looked at fords piece of shit sliver of a pedal and relized it was stuck on the junk floor mats that came with my car!!!! god i was pissed almost launched an engine for 10 dollar floor mats

 

My 92 LX did the same thing the first time I drove in on the road when I bought it and I was going up hill. I tried to turn on the car right after and it still stuck so i opened the hood and hit the throttle cable to open the body and then I never had the problem again. I think it was just a freak thing.
