Default 94 GT decision

ok check it .. theres a guy sellin a 94 gt 5.0 5 spd ive been lookin for a mustang for a while now while the dealerships say ass loads of money i dont have and well 4gs seems reasonalbe price there are 111,xxx miles on her paint is badly beaten theres a dent in the rear bumper and well other than that the interior is in great condidtion , moving on - i started it up when i went to go look at it and it warmed up for about 15 mins as i made small talk with the guy the temp guage was at half mark i took it for a test drive and motor seemed strong funny noise and ran sluggish at first till it warmed up but hadnt been started in a while andi discovered noise was exhaust leak , i took it for a test drive down the block and the temp gauge was a lil above half way , not sure whether its a problem or not yet .. car began to shake mildly from what it felt like in the rear at around 65 .. no other shaking also the clutch pedal has a little play in it maybe its low on fluid ,im guessing the shaking is a wheel balance problem again the car has sat for a while ! any advice or suggestions would be appreciated and thanks for readin

find a trusted mechanic or something knows mustang to take a look at it for you. SOunds like its got some issues and I would talk him down a little bit more.

I agree, I was looking for a cobra for 2 months, then I almost bought a 98 Cobra w/ 112k miles for $13,500... but it was pretty modded and you could tell it was beat to shit, then the next day I found my 94 Cobra at a dealership w/ 17,000 original miles for the same price! Granted I wanted a modular Cobra and not the 5.slow, I couldn't pass this deal/mint car up!

For 4,000 you can find something nice. The key is patience. That thing sounds like a bucket.

My 95 Cobra temp gauge was always over halfway, so has everyother one i seen, after putting in the 160 thermostat it always stayed way below that unless i was sitting in traffic for a long time on a hot day...

I think you should quit questioning things or else your gonna get hijacked by some jihad dealership paying 3 times the worth of the car, having the motor blow or some other bullshit and being out nearly 10g's all at the same time paying for full coverage insurance and 2 loans nearly 600 a month on a car you can't drive. For what your budget is and what you're expecting to buy, you're trying to get platinum for the price of silver plating. If you pass this up you might as well get a 6 cyl and do 4v swap later on down the line.
