Problem with lowering springs
I bought a used set of Eibach Sportline springs. The fronts were off a 99 GT. The rears off a 91LX. My problem has been with the front springs. They look brand new, and the car looks great with them. The problem is, when I hit a bump, any bump, the front struts bottom out. You can push down on the front of the car and feel the strut stopping through the strut tower. The struts I have were new 01 GT takeoffs from MPS, and I have only put about 10k miles on them. Is there a difference in strut travel between Fox and SN-95? If there is, why do most companies sell struts for Mustangs 79-04 as one part number? Anybody else have these problems?

Acutally there is a difference between the travel. The bolt up the same on stock car height cars and work fine. When you go lowered all that changes. Most Sn95 ppl will acutally goto fox struts and shocks cause foxes sit lower. I think doing caster camber plates will restore some of the travel as well.

maybe an inch or so...then you run in to hood problems.
I ran bullitt takico s/n struts on my last fox that car sat very low and the strut never bottomed out.
make sure the struts are working.
I did impact them on, how would I know if they are f-ed up? They still move up and down smoothly
