Default Window switch help???

ok I have a friend that is trying to put a window switch on his car. He can spray the car fine without using the window switch, pushing a button. But he can't figure out why it wont kick on using the switch.

also at about like 5,000rpm when the car is being sprayed it starts sounding like it's missing, or something like that. what could cause that???

Thanks

don't know on the switch, but sounds like too much timing or not enough spark.

What kind of car is it. If its a modular then check the plugs, timing and coils and make sure those are fine. If its a 5.0 check the plugs wires timing etc.

I hope he's using atleast 93, it could ping if the gas isen't good enough or he's running too much timing. Both of those could cause detonation so I woulden't spray until the sound goes away.
