Are these numbers for stock bottom end or a built bottom end?

^ Don't much matter, as long as its got the factory forged pistons. The block is the weak point - internals will take more abuse than that thin ass lifter valley on the block.

Someone on here made a lot more than 500 on a stock block and it didnt break. I wonder who.

Ive seen pictures of motors with girdles let go. You will are the rear three mains still attached to the block with the front two mains hanging down attached to the now crescent shaped girdle

By all means, if it makes you feel better drill right in to the top of that block and pretend like you're strengthening it.

yeah exceot there is a beam holding the lifter valley down and the top end squared up. Idk im sure they will help with my aluminum heads that are ported and polished out as far as they can go and going with a intake that must be portmatched and equally hogged out thats alot of structrual rigidity lost. where as with a cast intake thats not ported paper thin and cast iron heads im sure as u say it would be stronger. Then again our engine isnt going to be in a daily or even a car thats cruised . Its being built to run WOT for 9 seconds then idle back to the pits ect and just has such a massive amount of material removed from the heads and will also from the intake bolth being aluminum which is weaker then cast iron ect.
