Default 88 GT Hard Cold Start

Hey everyone! I just got an 88 Fox Body from another TR member. The question I have is this: on the first cold start of the day (usually on a cold morning) the vehicle will crank up and then die right out. I can do this several times with no success in staying running. What I have to do is treat it as if it has a cold carburator. I crank it up and give it gas, and when it starts I have to work the throttle to keep it BARELY running. Then after a few seconds (30 or so) it will idle great.... Any Ideas?!

Thanks TR!

Before you crank it, pump the gas a few times....

No modifications...
It hasn't been converted at all...
And it's not carburated so I wouldn't think that'd do anything...
