Default Got a fuel Problem

My fuel pump is not turning on. If I jump the fuel pump relay it kicks on so I know my fuel pump works. But my ECM is not clicking my relay over to send the voltage threw. My fusible links are good. Oh my car is a 88 notchback. I just got done putting my motor back in and I am sure that all the grounds are hooked up. I just got it painted. I moved the battery to the back. Every thing else seems to work. Just not the fuel pump. I took a ECM out of another coupe to see if it was my problem but it still didnt work. I am stuck and out of ideas if anyone could help me out that would be great. Thanks in advance.

are you getting spark and injector pulse as well? It could also be your ignition switch as well.

I turned my ignition on and I used a test light at the injectors and I had power.

on mustangs you have to run the test light on the negative side, they always have constant power last I remember.

yea, they break ground not power... sounds like you have a bad ignition switch... If i remember right. There should be a brown wire with red trace leaving ign switch going to the ecm.. check it for power leaving the switch... is it intermitent? or is it constant not starting unless u jump power to the FP relay?...
