Default intake manifold question

I have a carbed 302 with a performer rpm and a holley 650dp on it. The nitrous kit I have says not to use a dual plane intake. What is the single plane of choice for these engines. I'm new to ferds. The engine supposidly has an x cam and is bored
.30 over. the heads are stock and its a 5 speed if that helps. Thanks
John

U have a dual plane intake.

A dual play is intake is hard to describe. Its a multy leveled intake that increases low end torque .. i guess would be the best way to explain it.

a single plane is for high rpm use with little or no low end torque its sole purpose is to make as much power at WOT as possible with no concern for drivability or anything.

sorry i got my thoughts wrong. i have a dual plane and the n2o kit says not to use a dual plane so I am looking at a single plane. I'll edit my post. Also the car is hardly ever driven on the street. it is tagged and legal but just a toy in the garage. Drivabilty isn't too big of a concern.

i have used the torker 2 intake with a 650 holley dp and a "b" cam with 1.72 rocker, stock heads with slight exhaust port work, and a shot of juice and ran 7.2's at sunshine all day.

I'm using a Weiand X-Celerator single plane intake. Its 1500-7000RPMs...the ports on it are kinda small though, I'm using it for a turbo. Dunno if its any good for N20, but I thoguht I'd throw it out there for ya.

i think the vic Jr actually has larger diameter ports then stock heads. that intake has been a pretty bad ass single plane for several decades
