MISSINGSTANG .. whats up with the chopers tonight?
A couple birds have been flying over the hernando beach area for awhile now. At 1st I thought it was a coastie and a blackhawk , now i think its 2 blackhawks. Id assume its just an Epirb going off on of the the baots that already home safe since their are doig circles half gulf and haulf over land or, Did we loose another fucken boat up here? Freaken shrimpers never learn to take care of their shit! I hope all are well. PM me if u hear anything.

that will be the 3 boat in 6 months out of hernando to go down if it is that. well one captain fell asleep drunk at cruise and plowed the shallows till it found lime stone and cleaned it clock and running gear from the waterline down. good thing where it wound up was only about 2 1/2 ft deep at high and dry at mean low water

Air station Clearwater uses hernando county airport to keep one or two birds a little farther north just in case. They also use it for touch and go's and training exercises. They were probably just training, my dad lives about 8 miles from the airport and they used to fly overhead all the time. I wasent on last night i was at home drinking, so i dont know what happened. As for blackhawks ours are jayhawks they're a version of the blackhawk w/out all the extras we dont need.
No moose knuckle the blackhawks are fat and slow, remember we chase fast boats that can turn really quick, we run a hitron program w/ lighter faster augusta helicopters w/ 240's and 50cal sniper rifle's here's a link to how the program came about Helicopter Interdiction Tactical Squadron
Here's some pics from hitron over the past few years

Badlatitude, i wouldent worry too much about the jayhawks, if you see one of these flying overhead then you can worry
