BMP doesnt have a night time muffler rule does it?

 

Not that i know of. Legaly IIRC, you can make as much noise as you want till about 10:30-11:00pm. Or somewhere around their. When they just had the snow birds they had jet cars/pro mod running at night.

 

I was just asking because english town made friday nights mufflers only a few years back .. I couldnt find anything on BMP's site referencing it so i thought id ask

 

Englishtown did this because of the morons that bought houses near the track then bitched about the noise!!

There is a 10:00 rule at BMP, not sure how enforced it is.

 

same problem that is happening with Huntsville, E-town and give it a few years and BMP will be dealing with the same issue. Doesn't matter if the track has been there for 50 years, people will move in/build, complain that they don't like the noise, go to the county/city about it. There will be either concessions made or the owner will just sell outright (which is what the city/county would want anyway, more money made on tax dollars on a subdivision vs. a race track).

Street racing will increase and people will wonder why..

 

The VERY best part is that the NHRA was founded to get racers on the track and off the streets and it was promoted by not only the NHRA but also by law enforcement. Tracks has plenty of people , no problem. fast foward to the 90s to pre ( The FOS and the Retarded fakeness) the street racing scene was pretty much underground. Then every idiot with a 100 horse 4 banger decided to race every freak place and the internet scene EXPLODES Ud get knocked the fuck out or worse if u had a camera in NY at a race 8-10 years ago Most likely be walking like John Wayne with a camera stuck in your asshole.

I read on the rest of this board people in imports CRYING because cops follow them or pull them over for their fartcans. Then i see videos of the same piece of shit 16 second cars that are louder then a freaken 10 second v8 with full exhaust racing on US19 and not just onw race! its over and over and over past the same shopping center. It just blows my mind. Now im not saying im against "street cars" Because im not one bit. But when I think of a "street car" I think of somthing a lil more substantial then a honda or an integra. Yet I know they can be made fast but 99% of them are stock with fart cans. We never raced in plain view or cars , in traffic on main roads. Our spots were always out on the edge of town a quiet area that might get 2 cars down it between 11pm and 4am. 2 cars would roll there with what ever on lookers. They would run , cash out and put their ride back in its garage , hop in the daily and go back out there.

Do theese morons think that LE isnt all the fuck over theese boards all over google and youtube and streetfire? shit half of the videos got license plates or full freaken names on them along with being posted by the person with a pic of his car in his sig.
