Will i still need flycut pistons using

STOCK bottom end

E303 cam Duration: 220°/220° @ .050''
Lift: .498''/.498''

64cc windsor SR iron heads with a 2.02 intake valve with a 1.6 rocker
Copper Head Gasket Bore/Thickness 4.060X.062''

or will it be so darn close that I better do it anyway?

You'll be fine.Just don't go to a bigger cam or mill the heads.

how can you say that. some stock motors with 2.02 valves cant clear a stock cam , much less an e cam. if you had a 1.90 valve it would clear but 2.02 most likely not.

i know if they were twisted wedge or track heat heads they would clear fine, but is your case i would clay it and ck it to be shure thats the only real way to find out for shure.2.02 valve could hit with a inline valve head, not shure though.

an e cam is not a good turbo cam. fly cut the pistons and use an f cam. custom turbo cam would be best. but
e cam has 110 lobe seperation....not the best for a turbo.
f cam 114 lobe seperation ,,,,much better for turbo or power adder

fox trick flow tw heads will clear up to 512 lift and 224 @.050 with flat tops

I have pistons from an old motor that were smacked with 2.02 valves of an F cam. So if it were mine I would cut them. but then again it is just my 2 cents. Good luck.

PS he is right dont use an E if your going to be adding a turbo.
