BMP Is Putting In Concrete Walls ! / Also Looking For Help
That's right, it is official, they will be closing their gates on Dec 18th, 2006 to start the process ! It takes three weeks to construct and one week for curing. So the track should be back up the second week or so of January.
They need to assemble four teams of volunteers who are willing to perform heavy labor in assisting only in the removal of guardrail. Heavy equipment, torches and cordless impacts a plus. All they need is help removing guardrail. The concrete company will do the rest. If anyone is interested in helping to make their racing experience safer, please contact:

This is nothing but great news both on the safety front for racers and shows how serious the ownership is about the track and its longevity for all of us.

That's sweet!I really wish they would put some money into Sunshine,hell,they could prolly get all of us that love the track and love to race there to help with the cost of finishing the track.I'd donate to help fix up Sunshine.

I don't know bro,I've heard so many different things over the past 10 years,so I don't know what's going on.They did just repave the first part of the track though.

Do they know how much time this may take? Will they offer any free entry to a track event? Biggest thing for me as well as most of us i would think is its close a 1 hr. drive.
