You have got to be kidding me right????????
look at what the GT-H's from the past are pulling.....a bit extreme I agree but whoever is eager enough to buy that at that price is looking at it as an investment for years to come. that thing may pull 3-4 times that in 20 years...thats as good of a return as a house. .02

Ford would be very intersted to see this, The Hertz cars are to be sold only to hertz and they are not allowed to sell them to anyone, They have a written agreement with FORD to not seel them until they are unusable(at which time they are supposed to repaint them and remove all the GT-H badging and plating, or if they are past the agreed mileage point(read this in Car and Driver) hmm somebody's in trouble.(or its a fake) The first one was sold at auction and the money was donated to a charity. it is supposed to be the only one available to the public.(247,900 was paid at barrett Jackson)
BTW I hate these cars anyway, These people are trying to speculate that these things will be worth anymore than any other Mustang and they are wrong, Collectable Mainstream cars are dead, ask anyone who bought a 95 Indy Camaro(worth less than 1/2 of price paid) The grand Nationals are holding good value but thats because people want it because they are pretty fast, not to collect it and never drive it(like most 60's musclecars) no market for it as a collectable. Waiting for the BOSS if any new model(as long as they dont rape you with the upcharge or if they dont make it look ricey like the Saleen's or dumptruck heavy like the GT500.

Err not what the manager at Budget told me when I rented mine. Said they were going to put about 5,000 miles on them and then auction them off. Looks like that's what they are doing.
