Cleaning calipers

What is a good way to clean this used calipers I got?

Also, is there any place I shouldn't get fluid into? Other than brake fluid?

cap the connection where the brake line goes, make sure the bleeder vave is closed. i just use brake cleaner for mine.

obviously brake cleaner..
