Project's back in FL!
That Chevy has been a life saver. And Ford couldn't / wouldn't put together a deal for me on a full sized truck, and wanted me to rock a Ranger... I got that Chevy for $16k the way it sits (wheels, billet, etc)...
$hawn, I threw that in there, because I figured that's about the only place I'll get to see money and me in the same place any more
Now that the car's home, I'm afraid your name is gonna be $$$$hawn...
Glad to have the car back, Uncle Pat came and took an assessment of it with me a few minutes ago (FWIW: His GT is as stank as the day is long!)... He sees the light at the end of the tunnel, just a roller as it sits though, with a lot of work needed...
$hawn, when can you get with me to take a look at it, and inventory the parts I've got, and make an assessment as to where to head with it, and of course the financial game-plan thereafter?! I've only got the tow-dolly for tomorrow and Tuesday, but if you don't mind swinging down this way........

Truck's a V6
But it is what it is, a daily driver that get's good gas mileage, and has a nice look to it... Cold A/C, tint, twenties... Rolls clean enough for me!!
Car was a V6, swapped to a 302...
Pat, who's Tony? I've got the car still hooked up to the Dolly. But could drop it in the yard if he needs to use it for a little while or something?! Let me know. Especially if he's got some parts he wants to donate for the usage

Mars 302 actually hit this one right on the head. This was exactly what was happening and he called it. You start the car up when its cold and it drives ok for a few minutes and then it breaks up under acceleration. It was the fuel pump getting stopped up with dirt. When you let the car sit, dirt falls down, drive car for a little bit, dirt regathers on pump = bad fuel pressure
When we got the fuel pump out of the tank we discovered there was no sock on it. The only thing that was keeping dirt/grime out of the pump was the tiny circular metal screen that goes in the bottom of the pump. And of course it was completely clogged with stuff. So we put the new pump in anyway just as a precaution, and after we got everything sinched back up it runs fine.
We checked the tank for the missing sock on the baffled side where the pump sits - couldnt see anything. It might have fallen off and worked its way to the drivers side of the tank. Anyway, we got a sock on it and now its fine
