clutch cable's

i just smoked my 3rd clutch cable.

first two burned from touching my mac longtubes, i have that issue covered.

this one just split the black plastic and the innards of the cable is out on the outer.

what have i done to upset the ford gods?

just walked over to the parts dept at work, OEM cable is $178, so forget that shit.

what kinds of cables do you guys use?

I have bought and destroyed almost all of them.... The last three have been from Steeda and they have been better.

first one was a UPR, it lasted like 18 months. I had a FRPP in there for a good year, then the car got destroyed and I forgot to take it out. Kinda pissed about that, $50 I gotta waste for another one.
