Hello All,

I am purchasing a 88 coupe and want to do a svo conversion. I know a couple of folks on here have successfully done this, and was wondering if it would be worth it? I had a couple of questions - typically how much do the wiring harness cost?, where could I pick one up at?, would I need to change the dash out?, swap ecu ect... Does it matter if the ecu is for a auto or maunal?

First, you will probably want to start out with a hatch. Just my opinion though.

You can practically modify/repin any harness for the turbo cars sensors. Cophers won't even charge you anything for cutting pins out of harnesses.

Yes you'll want to run one of the turbo cars ECU's, along with the injectors.

I think he is just doing a swap in a coupe. No real reason to try and make a clone when there are plenty of svo's to be found for reasonable money.

Good luck with the swap. Power2weight knows alot of the wiring so keep him in mind. Need help just post up.
