Consumer Reports: Ford on top
The Fusion and Milan ranked higher in reliability than the Camry and Accord in a recent study.

But....in all fairness, those two are based an the Mazda 6 platform.
Anyway....step in the right direction for a turnaround.

Really stripped and it was nicer than the mid level Fusion he was loaned. Believe me I wish Ford had a better line up, no one has supported them more over the years from me but damn, the cars they are putting out now are just so damn ho hum.
not to mention a better handling chassis, a trunk, more headroom, etc.
fortunately you are in the minority of people who feel like that.
there are 3 different models, an s which is a stripper and usually a rental car.
an se which is much nicer with alum wheels 6 disc and redundant wheel control.
and the bomb se.
to guys who makes a real good living like some of us on here i can see your point, a fusion is certainly not a nice as my explorer limited, your infinity, or BM$ infinity, but those cars do have their places. for someone making 25-35k per year and is on a budget, there really isn't a better choice, except maybe a 10k focus, like you and alan perfer.
