Any way to clean a mass air meter? I just had a new one put on my car and apparently the air filter has some shit in it and I need to get a new filter. Id Like to salvage this meter before I go and spend 80 bucks on another...is there some way to clean it without damaging the electrical shit?

Default Yea

Yea, put some oil on it. The take a towel and rub it all over. This may sound crazy but the put it on the ground and set it on fire. Let it burn for 1 minute and then put the fire out. I tried this and it worked.

residue free electrical contact cleaner.

You will need to remove the actual sensor out of the housing, should use a T-20 security Torx bit. Dont tough the sensor wires just spray them gently.
