I am due to drop of my tranny to Steve over at CRT monday and i am second guessing it. I was quoted $1395.00 to take the AOD i have in my garage and beef it up to handle the power my 351w will be producing. I will also need a converter which will be another 400-500. All said and done i am looking at 2g's anyone have any suggestions on how to save some cash? or even an alternative?

That is a SERIOUS stall...I am looking for the 2800 Area. I have been doing some more research and i still cannot find a way around from spending that much money on a tranny.

I have a killer vb from Lentech if you still go AOD. It is the strip terminator electric o/d with a brake. No TV cable to deal with but you have to self shift. PM if interested.
