Default Can you patch the sidewall of a tire?

I was gonna drive my friend to work today but my car had a flat. I found a little piece of metal in the tread which I know can be plugged. Then I found two super tiny holes in the sidewall from who knows what. I know those cant be plugged but can they be patched from the inside? The tires are relativly new and I dont want to buy new tires for these rims because I want to get some 18's soon. Are patches safe?

no patches on sidewall is never safe and it won't hold because the tire cramps and moves the Patch, it will start leaking again soon... i work with tires

I just filled the tire up with air and put some water on it and it doesnt seem like its coming out of the holes on the side, maybe its just like a cut or something?

you can patch them. but it is not the best thing to do. if it is just a small nail/hole i would say patch it and keep it under 90mph. many people ride/ race on patched plugged tires.
